Angels rush to see…

Sahih Muslim (17)

It was narrated that Rifa’ah bin Rafi said:
“We were praying behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) one day and when he raised his head from bowing he said:
‘Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him).’
A man behind him said: ‘Rabbana wa lakal-hamd, hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih.
(O our Lord, and to You be praise, much blessed and pure praise.)’
When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had finished, he said:
“Who is the one who spoke just now?”
The man said: ‘I did, O Messenger of Allah.’
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘I saw thirty-some angels rushing to see which of them would write it down first.'”
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“When the Imam says: ‘Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him),’
then say: ‘Rabbana wa lakal-hamd,’ (Our Lord, and to You be the praise).’
Whoever says that and it coincides with the angels saying it, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

Surah Sajdah

Surah Sajdah (4)

Surah Hajj

verse 47

And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.

indicates that the length of a day with Allah is a thousand years.

In Surah As Sajdah

verse 55

He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.

In Surah Al- Ma’arij

verse 4

‘The angels and the Rooh [Jibreel] ascend to Him in a Day the measure whereof is fifty thousand years’

There are two ways in which these ayaat may be reconciled:

The first was reported by Ibn Abi Haatim via Sammaak from ‘Ikrimah

from Ibn ‘Abbaas:

the day of a thousand years mentioned in Surah al-Hajj is one of the six days in which Allah created the heavens and the earth; the day of a thousand years mentioned in Surah al-Sajdah is the length of time it takes for a matter to go up to Allah; and the day of fifty thousand years is the Day of Resurrection.

The second (way of reconciling the ayaat) is that what is meant by all of them is the Day of Resurrection, and the difference in the time span depends on whether a person is a believer or a disbeliever. This is indicated by the ayaah (interpretation of the meaning):

‘Truly that Day will be a Hard Day, far from easy for the disbelievers.”

[al-Muddaththir 74:9-10].

These two suggestions were mentioned by the author of al-Itqaan. And Allaah knows best.”

Surah Sajdah (6)

Surah Al Muttafin

verses 18-21

No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ‘illiyyun.

And what can make you know what is ‘illiyyun?

It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah ].

Narrated AbuUmamah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Prayer followed by a prayer with no idle talk between the two is recorded in Illiyyun.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1288

Dialects and Readings of the Qur’an

Narrated AbuSa’id al-Khudri:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

A man from the Illiyyun will look downwards at the people of Paradise and Paradise will be glittering as if it were a brilliant star.

He (the narrator) said: In this way the word durri (brilliant) occurs in this tradition, i.e. the letter dal (d) has short vowel u and it has no hamzah (‘). AbuBakr and Umar will be of them and will have some additional blessings.

Sunan Abi Dawud 3987

How the Quran should be recited?

Always try to read Quran with Proper Wudhu, Tarteel, Slow Pace, Respectable place, Tajweed Rules, Avoid Talking.

See Quran 56: 77-79 verses
The Rewards of Walking to the Prayer

Narrated AbuUmamah:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

If anyone goes out from his house after performing ablution for saying the prescribed prayer in congregation (in the mosque), his reward will be like that of one who goes for hajj pilgrimage after wearing ihram (robe worn by the hajj pilgrims).

And he who goes out to say the mid-morning (duha) prayer, and takes the trouble for this purpose, will take the reward like that of a person who performs umrah. And a prayer followed by a prayer with no worldly talk during the gap between them will be recorded in Illiyyun.

hadith (20)

It was narrated from Abu Malik Ash’ari that:
The Messenger of Allah said: “Performing ablution properly is half of faith, saying Al-Hamdu Lillah fills the Scale (of good deeds), saying Subhan-Allah and Allahu Akbar fills the heavens and the earth, prayer is light, Zakat is proof, patience is brightness and the Qur’an is proof for you or against you. Every person goes out in the morning to sell his soul, so he either frees it or destroys it.'”

Hadith 280

With what Qiyam should begin

It was narrated that Rabi’ah bin Ka’b Al-Aslami said:
“I used to stay overnight at the Prophet’s (ﷺ) apartment and I used to hear him when he prayed Qiyam at night saying: ‘Subhan Allahi Rabil-Alamin (Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds)’ for a long time, then he said: ‘Subhan Allah wa bi hamdih (Glory and praise be to Allah) for a long time.”

Surah Ar Rad

Copy of Sahih Muslim

Surah Ar Rad

verse 28

Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.”

Spend Gold and Silver

Sahih Muslim (15)

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Shall I not inform you of the best of your actions which are the purest to your Rubb, which exalt you to the high ranks, which are more efficacious than spending gold and silver (in charity), and better for you than you should encounter your enemies whom you will smite their necks and they will smite your necks?” They said, “Certainly.” He (ﷺ) said, “Remembrance of Allah the Exalted.”
