The Virtue Of The One Who Spends On A Pair (Of Things) In The Cause Of Allah, The Mighty And Sublime

Sahih Muslim (20)

Abu Hurairah used to narrate that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever spends on a pair (of things) in the cause of Allah, he will be called in Paradise: ‘O slave of Allah, here is prosperity.’ Whoever is one of those who pray, he will be called from the gate of Paradise. Whoever is one of those who participated in Jihad, he will be called from the gate of Paradise. Whoever is one of those who fast, he will be called from the gate of Ar-Rayyan.” Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: “O Messenger of Allah! No distress, or need will befall the one who is called from those gates. Will there be anyone who will be called from all these gates? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Yes, and I hope that you will be one of them.”

The superiority of a person who sleeps with ablution.

hadith

Narrated Al-Bara ‘bin `Azib:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, “Whenever you go to bed perform ablution like that for the prayer, lie or your right side and say, “Allahumma aslamtu wajhi ilaika, wa fauwadtu `Amri ilaika, wa alja’tu Zahri ilaika raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika. I surrender to You and entrust all my affairs to You and depend upon You for Your Blessings both with hope and fear of You. There is no fleeing from You, and there is no place of protection and safety except with You O Allah! I believe in Your Book (the Qur’an) which You have revealed and in Your Prophet (Muhammad) whom You have sent). Then if you die on that very night, you will die with faith (i.e. or the religion of Islam). Let the aforesaid words be your last utterance (before sleep).” I repeated it before the Prophet (ﷺ) and when I reached “Allahumma amantu bikitabika-l-ladhi anzalta (O Allah I believe in Your Book which You have revealed).” I said, “Wa-rasulika (and your Apostle).” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “No, (but say): ‘Wanabiyika-l-ladhi arsalta (Your Prophet whom You have sent), instead.”

JIHAD (1)

Virtues of Friday Prayer

Sahih Muslim (3)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“He who takes a bath on Friday, like the bath for ceremonial purity,
and then goes (to the mosque), he is like one who offers a camel as a sacrifice to seek the Pleasure of Allah;
and he who comes at the second hour is like one who offers a cow to win the Pleasure of Allah;
and he who comes at the third hour is like one who offers a ram with horns (in sacrifice);
and he who comes at the fourth hour is like one who offers a hen;
and he who comes at the fifth hour is like one who offers an egg.
And when the Imam ascends the pulpit, the angels (who write the names of those who come to the mosque before the coming of the Imam) close (their record) in order to listen to the Khutbah.”

Those who are Near

Sahih Muslim (18)

Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “When a group of people assemble for the remembrance of Allah, the angels surround them (with their wings), (Allah’s) mercy envelops them, Sakinah, or tranquillity descends upon them and Allah makes a mention of them before those who are near Him.”

hadith (20)

It was narrated from Abu Malik Ash’ari that:
The Messenger of Allah said: “Performing ablution properly is half of faith, saying Al-Hamdu Lillah fills the Scale (of good deeds), saying Subhan-Allah and Allahu Akbar fills the heavens and the earth, prayer is light, Zakat is proof, patience is brightness and the Qur’an is proof for you or against you. Every person goes out in the morning to sell his soul, so he either frees it or destroys it.'”

Spend Gold and Silver

Sahih Muslim (15)

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Shall I not inform you of the best of your actions which are the purest to your Rubb, which exalt you to the high ranks, which are more efficacious than spending gold and silver (in charity), and better for you than you should encounter your enemies whom you will smite their necks and they will smite your necks?” They said, “Certainly.” He (ﷺ) said, “Remembrance of Allah the Exalted.”
